Lion’s Gate Bridge in Vancouver is In Fact a Wheelchair Accessible Playground…

Two friends and I just got back from skiing in Whistler, BC.  I’ve never sit-skied a bigger mountain ever.  It took a gondola ride and 4 separate chairlifts to get to where we wanted to ski.  It had dumped snow (around 2 meters) a few days prior to our arrival, therefore the snow was plentiful to say the least.  The best part of the entire ski trip was purchasing a single 2010 Volkl Mantra  from a ski shop who had broke the other.  The owner sold me the single Mantra for $50… sweeeeeet deal!  And, if that wasn’t good enough, he switched my binding to the ski for no extra charge.  In my world, we’d most definitely call that an “8 meatball special”.

After 6 days of riding the KBG sit ski I was exhausted, ready to fly home and sleep in my own bed.  I had skied multiple days in a new ski town, and came away with no injuries, therefore this was a good trip.  We decided to stay in Vancouver for 2 nights at the end of our trip, since it’s conveniently on the way to the Seattle, WA airport.  Amongst other things in Vancouver, we visited Stanley Park and Lion’s Gate Bridge.  My friend Mike has a company which does South Florida Wedding Photography.  Originally we visited Stanley Park and Lion’s Gate Bridge because he wanted to shoot photos.  Once we got there we found other random ways to amuse ourselves.  Below is a video of Bobby, Mike, and I in Stanley Park under the Lion’s Gate Bridge.
