4:00am Sit-Ski Build in Aspen, CO Hotel…
This video was shot last month in December 2010 while visiting Aspen, Colorado to ski. A friend and I flew from South Florida into Denver around 10:00pm , and then proceeded to drive 3.5 hours to Aspen. This is a video of me at 4:00am, in a zombie-like state of mind, assembling a “KBG” sit-ski. Small price to pay, because we were actually able to wake up the next morning at 7:30am to catch first lift. Oh so sweet.
If confined to a wheelchair, I strongly recommend you consider a lesson. There are multiple adaptive non-profit organizations that offer supervised lessons for very reasonable prices. Contact me if you’re interested but not sure where to start.

MikeWOW JAKE!! This brings back many memories of you and I in Colorado doing it big on the hill! The latest video of you at Aspen put me in awe…. You are the man Jake. You have always been someone that I have looked up to and you are truley a role model to everyone around you. Words cannot describe how much I appreciate you being in my life and I think of you as a brother from a different mother. I love you bro and am sooooo proud of you! Keep up the hard work and keep flying down those runs brother!!
